Engineering Field Technician -SSES - (ME11414-3)- Atlanta, GA

Woolpert is seeking a Engineering Field Technician - Crew Leader with the ability to lead a field crew performing sanitary sewer evaluation study (SSES) fieldwork for our Atlanta office. Candidate must be able to perform flow meter installation along with the associated maintenance and data collection of flow metering. Candidate must be physically able to perform flow monitoring, manhole inspections, cleaning and CCTV inspection, smoke testing activities, and be willing to travel in consecutive one-week periods.
Qualified candidates will have a BA/BS or four (4) years of related experience. Experience with Microsoft Access and ESRI Arc-View are strongly desired as well as prior experience with flow meter equipment. Candidates with previous experience leading a crew performing SSES duties are strongly preferred.

The chosen candidate will have the chance to work for one of the top mapping companies in the U.S. while using the latest Geospatial/GIS technologies.
The position requires an AA/AS and two (2) years related experience or four (4) years related experience in Engineering, GIS, Geography, or other related field. Previous knowledge of all phases of LiDAR production is highly desired. Experience using Microstation, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Terrascan is preferred. Desired skills include experience with and a working knowledge of LiDAR calibration, cleaning, classification, and final product generation.
