Woolpert, Inc., a national leading design, geospatial, and infrastructure company is seeking to hire highly motived Geospatial LiDAR Technicians to join our Mobile LiDAR group in Dallas, TX. The chosen candidates will have the chance to work for one of the top mapping companies in the U.S. while using the latest Geospatial/GIS technologies.
The position requires an AA/AS and two (2) years related experience (or 4 years related experience) in, GIS, Geography, CAD Design/Modeling, or other related field. Previous knowledge in LiDAR processing along with experience with the following software: Microstation, ArcGIS, Terrascan, TopoDOT, DATem, VR LiDAR is strongly desired. Travel may be required. Additionally, the selected candidate may be required to drive our Mobile Mapping vehicle, in which case, a valid drivers license and insurable driving record will be required.
