Woolpert is seeking Geospatial Technicians with prior Hyperspectral/Multispectral Image (HSI/MSI) experience to work onsite at our client, Wright Patterson AFB. Key duties include HSI/MSI data processing, data analysis, analytic support, publishing and disseminating, as well as providing analyst continuity documentation and training on the use of software tools and techniques. o Specific goals include: Supporting up to 24 x 7 processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) of data from multiple airborne spectral and AGI sensors, including HSI and MSI assets to satisfy customer requirements o Solving related state-of-the-art intelligence problems o Interfacing and exchanging data and information with other Government intelligence agencies, including the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS).
Qualified candidates will have two years of college/technical training and two years of experience processing and exploiting remote sensor data. Software experience with ENVI and Socet GXP are desired. Additionally, a TS/SCI security clearance is required.

The School of Earth Sciences and Environmental Sustainability at Northern Arizona University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment as an Assistant Professor in Geophysics for August 2012. The successful candidate will teach senior and graduate courses in Geophysics and other classes as needed, conduct a successful sponsored research program in Geophysics, and support the Earth and Planetary Systems emphasis area of the new Earth Sciences and Environmental Sustainability PhD program. Minimum qualification is an earned PhD in Geophysics; OR, an earned PhD in related area with dissertation-related research in geophysics, conferred by start date.

Assistant Professor - Petroleum Geology - California State University at Bakersfield (CSUB)

Petroleum Geology. The Department of Geological Sciences at California State University at Bakersfield (CSUB) announces a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level for a geologist specializing in fields relevant to Petroleum Geology beginning in fall 2012. Though the particular expertise is open, applicants who will receive preference will specialize in seismology (as applied to reservoir characterization or fracture propagation), or geochemistry (as applied to hydrocarbons and/or CO2), or geostatistics. The California Well Sample Repository, located on campus, houses the largest public collection of oil- and water-well cores and cuttings in California. The department was recently granted major new funding from the NSF Centers for Research Excellence in Science and Technology program which will further improve its research capabilities and provide substantial support for student research assistantships and faculty released time.

methods of sequence stratigraphy. We seek applicants with a strong research record and
potential in sequence stratigraphy, experience in seismic stratigraphy, and the ability to teach at
the graduate level in their discipline. This position will be in the Geology Program of the School

Minimum qualifications include an earned doctorate conferred by August 1, 2012 in the
geosciences; teaching experience at the college level; and research experience using modern
methods of sequence stratigraphy.

Preferred qualifications include:
1) Experience with integrated field and subsurface research in sequence stratigraphy.
2) Demonstrated use of seismic reflection data in research.
3) Demonstrated use of state-of-the-art subsurface exploration and production software.
4) Demonstrated ability to teach (a) advanced undergraduate and graduate courses on
sequence stratigraphy, and (b) specialized topics courses.
5) Experience or potential for multidisciplinary collaboration with individuals within and
