Woolpert, Inc. seeks a Geospatial Technician/LiDAR for its Dallas, TX office. This position is primarily responsible for performing advanced photogrammetric tasks including production of topographic maps, and stereo compilation, with an emphasis on LiDAR both static and mobile. Position will require the ability to complete basic photogrammetric tasks necessary to support LIDAR data collection. Successful candidate will have prior experience in extraction and processing of LiDAR data with experience in one or more of the following hardware/software suites: Stereo Softcopy hardware, Microstation V8i,Geopak, Inroads, VR Mapping Software, Terrasolid products, Certainty 3D's TopoDOT and Leica's Cyclone. Orthophotography production experience a plus.
Excellent communication and computer skills are needed. Applicant must demonstrate proficiency in CAD software, and Microsoft Office applications. Applicant must possess the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Position requires an AA/AS in Surveying, Geography GIS, or related field and two (2) years related experience or four (4) years related experience. Prior experience with TXDOT projects a plus.
