Woolpert, Inc. seeks a LiDAR / Survey Technician - Office for its Dallas, TX office. This position is primarily responsible for performing advanced survey tasks including production of topographic maps, and data reduction, with an emphasis on LiDAR both static and mobile. Position will require the ability to complete basic survey tasks necessary to support LIDAR data collection. successful candidate will have prior experience in extraction and processing of LiDAR data with experience in one or more of the following software suites: Microstation V8i, Geopak, Inroads, Terrasolid products, Certainty 3D's TopoDOT and/or Leica's Cyclone.
Excellent communication and computer skills are needed. Applicant must demonstrate proficiency in CAD software, and Microsoft Office applications. Applicant must possess the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Position requires an AA/AS in Surveying, CADD, Geography, GIS or related field or a minimum of three (3) years related survey experience.Prior experience with TXDOT projects a plus.
